Your dessert recipe with an original twist could win you a share of R11k with the Sunday Times Goodlife Gautrain Taste Experience.

#GautrainTasteExperience

Johannesburg, 28 September 2018:  The Sunday Times Goodlife Gautrain Taste Experience is back, and ready to give food-lovers a chance to show off their dessert-making skills by entering a dessert recipe with an original twist, to stand the chance to win a share of R11,000 in prizes.

The top ten recipes will be invited to battle it out in the kitchen on 2 November, where their sweet creations will be tasted and scored by a panel including:

  • Hilary Biller, Food Editor of the Sunday Times;
  • Dr Barbara Jensen, Senior Executive Manager, Communication and Marketing at the Gautrain Management Agency;
  • Kabelo Segone, Vice President of the South African Chef Association;
  • Sam Rolland, the 2017 Sunday Times Gautrain Taste Experience winner.

So why not swap a tedious car ride for a quick commute on the Gautrain and spend the time you’ve saved dreaming up a recipe for a local-is-lekker dessert that can land one of the following cash prizes:

  • First place: R7,000 cash
  • Second place: R3,000 cash
  • Third place: R1,000 cash

Entries must be a dessert recipe with an original twist that can be prepared and ready to eat in under 60 minutes, and must include the full list of ingredients and the methodology…as well as include a metaphor to do with a train, in the name.

There is no cost to enter, and entries can be submitted online at https://tisoblackstarevents.co.za/events/sunday-times-goodlife-experience-gautrain/ or emailed to deagrelam@tisoblackstar.co.za

Entries close on 3 October 2018.
